State Bank of India (SBI), the largest Bank of the country, has invited applications to fill up around 1500 vacancies of Probationary Officers. The online applications form submission process is now over and more than 17 lac candidates have applied for the job of PO in SBI. The written test for SBI PO will be held on 28.04.2013 at the exam centers across the country.
How to Download SBI PO Exam Call Letter / Admit Card / Pravesh Patra
The SBI PO job applicants can download SBI PO Exam Admit Card / Pravesh Patra / Call Letter 2013 online from www.statebankofindia.com. The Admit Card / Call Letter / Pravesh Patra / Permission Letter for SBI PO Exam 2013 will be available online from 08.04.2013 onwards under the recruitment section of the SBI portal. Considering the fact that entire process of applications for the Job of PO in SBI has been facilitated through online, the SBI PO Admit Card / Hall Ticket / Permission Letter have to be downloaded online only as the Bank will not be sending the hard copy of the call letter by post. The candidates need to enter the requisite details like registration no. and password/ date of birth to download Call Letter / Admit Card. The candidates may also download SBI PO ‘Acquaint Yourself’ booklet apart form the written test Call Letter / Permission Letter / Hall Ticket.
SBI PO Exam Pattern / Syllabus
SBI PO written test shall consist of objective type questions (200 marks) and descriptive type questions (50 marks).
The Objective Tests will have 2 hour duration and it will consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each i.e. (a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc); (b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers; (c) Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation; and (d) Test of Reasoning (High Level).
The Descriptive Test will carry 50 marks and it will be for 1 hour duration. The descriptive test will be the ‘Test of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)’.
SBI PO Exam Merit List / Result 2013
The merit list of each category will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Objective Test and Descriptive Test. Based on the merit list / result of SBI PO Exam 2013, the candidates equivalent to 3 times of the number of vacancies will be called for Group discussion and interview for SBI PO job.
